The MHES Parent Participation Organization (P.P.O.) is composed of parents who have children attending Morin-Heights Elementary School. The objective is to enrich the school experience. The PPO prioritizes activities and events that benefit the entire student body.

PPO members are encouraged to:

Attend PPO meetings when possible

Contribute to the function and activities of the PPO whenever possible

Respond to PPO voting requests

The PPO may advise the parent members on the governing board about parents' concerns and they may consult the PPO when additional input from parents is needed. The PPO can play a valuable role and support the work of the governing board by effectively communicating with the parent body at large:

letting parents know about what is going on at the school and what the needs are

finding out about parents' concerns
